California Pizza Kitchen at Kapolei

I am not quite sure what happened today, but as a loyal bi-monthly customer, today was the worst experience we have had there. We came in for late lunch, sat at bar and Jenn was our server/bartender. She took her time coming over (one local guy at bar) and us. After she gave us our drinks, she refused to take our order & made us yell across the bar our order *wait.. what!?!! She brought us bread & oil (3). Local looking guy got 5. Ok whatevs, then brings us food, never comes back but to check on & be overly nice to local guy. Makes us yell again for check as she would not come back over to check on our meals. Here is the kicker, I am local 30 plus yr haole and by boyfriend is black. Clearly, Jenn needs retraining on sensitivity and diversity training but moreso, how to treat ALL patrons. My bf is a very generous cash tipper & he left her a mediocre billed tip. We both decided we are done with this place and maybe will grab take out if we absolutely need pizza. You lost return customers and hope you can remove this toxicity from your servers. We were appalled!

Service and food is good! But kinda dirty birds was flying in and out the restaurant, cleaning could be better ( ex: windows was dirty the ground where the booths are was pretty dirty )

The sitting was fairly nice but the mall is very busy. We were able to come in before the Sunday lunch rush. I cannot eat dairy so going to a pizza kitchen is a little bit weird, but the servers were able to work with me to make sure that the dishes I did order didn't have any cheese in them. Overall really cool and I would go back again! Dietary restrictions: I was able to order items that were not pizza, like the salads which I really enjoy. My dietary restrictions are dairy-free. I did see that they were gluten-free options on the menu for those who need that.
