Seawind Tours & Travel

This was our first trip with Seawind tours and it was outstanding. Derek facilitated our MoonEyes trip to Japan and he was amazing. Derek had organised personalised hand books, bag tags and other essential items to help us enjoy our time. The hotels were of very high standard with spectacular views, great food and facilities. We had an incredible local translator/tour guide who kept us fully informed everywhere we went. The tour had a great balance of cultural experiences, car show and car shop tours and down time. We wish to thank Derek for his wonderful work, planning and attention to detail and look forward to the next trip to Japan. We highly recommend Seawind Tours. Dave and Jeanne Greene.

If I could give 10 stars I would.  I have been a client of Seawind Tours & Travel since 2012 and since then, have been on at least 10 different trips with them all over the world - from Southeast Asia to Europe and beyond -  and I can't emphasize strongly enough how incredible every single experience with this company has been.  Time and time again they exceeded my expectations.   Seawind is not only professional and extremely mindful of details, they are experts at what they do and have connections and experience that contribute to mind-blowing trips.  I not only experienced this but I hear it from all the people that go on Seawind trips.Because of my travels with Seawind I worked a lot with the staff and they have been nothing but gracious and efficient in every encounter. I've also gotten to know the owner Randy King over the years on our trips and have not only experienced, but have witnessed him go above and beyond the call of duty in countless incidences.  His resourcefulness and commitment to the guest experience is unprecedented. As a person he is honest, kind, and efficient, and his integrity and honesty as a human being is evident in every encounter I've ever had or seen.I'm grateful to have been introduced to this company and whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a wonderful travel company that can be trusted.

Update:  Randy helped refund the 2 tickets he booked for our incentive trip due to Covid-19 cancellations and was surprisingly timely in his response and resolution. I still would not use his services in the future unfortunately Based on my overall experience and other reviews left here.

We recently traveled with Mr.King (the owner)and his team to Vietnam and Cambodia. We had an extraordinary wonderful experience. The tour was beyond my expectations and I would definitely use Seawind Tours Travel again. Thank you Randy!

If I could give 1/2 star I would.I still can't believe what happened last night actually happened.  We lost thousands of dollars as part of a group package that was cancelled due to a DOE freeze on school travel.  Randy King, the president of the company tried to explain his way out at a presentation at Kaimuki Middle in a slimy, snobbish, superciolous way.  One might ask, "why all the adjectives starting with an "S" to describe him?" Because he is a SSSSSSSnake.  Yes, a snake.  As of 3/12/20 70 families are out of a combined total of $170,450!!!!!!  Someone asked if he was willing to refund a portion of the profits that me made on us, and his answer was, "No, we did the work.  It's in our terms and conditions.  We need to pay our employees."  Well guess what Mr. King.  We worked for our money that we gave you as well.  To top it off, he also advised us that we would be assessed a $35 fee if we changed the name on the credit voucher.  I was embarrassed for you and how you handled yourself.  No aloha.  Your attitude and your refusal to work with us and be a part of our school community is the reason I am taking to Yelp, and to let other potential customers or parents to be wary of your practices.  Please, for the love of Baby Jesus and all things holy....find another tour company.
