October 2021, Lisa Kunioka, a social worker with DHS-CWS, was assigned to investigate my child’s safety after I filed for protection for both of us against my wife, who had just orchestrated an elaborate attempt to kill me, secretly recording the blowout that she meticulously instigated to appear as a self-defense murder. All after I discovered she had been abusing our child.Ms. Kunioka was never interested in the truth. She interrogated him for over an hour. Our child thought he could trust her. But after he heard how she justified relentless physical and emotional attacks by an alcoholic as “drinking is not illegal, a lot of people drink,” and other justifications, he said: “This lady is not interested in the truth; she keeps twisting everything I said; she either knows Mom since they work in the same field or just hates all men.” My child, who did not know the contents of the TRO, confirmed everything in it. He described numerous and daily psychological, emotional, and physical abuse, impossible to overlook, unimaginable fear of his mother. Ms. Kunioka lied to me and appeared at my child's school, pulled him out of class, humiliated him among his classmates, and attempted to manipulate him to agree with her assessment; when she failed, she blatantly lied in her report and omitted or misrepresented everything my child told her, claiming he felt safe with his mother.Ms. Kunioka’s report was nothing more than a defense for my wife; she transcribed our fight from the recording, disclosing only my profanities and omitting everything we discussed about abusing our child and other horrible behavior. She made up threats that didn’t exist, foul language, and assumed conclusions that didn’t exist. She misled the court, manipulated the truth, and withheld evidence, and although she admitted on the stand that our child was a truthful and competent witness, she omitted all of his fears and abuse. She was disgraced on the stand. In the seventeen minutes she finally spent talking to me, she spent half of it suggesting that I must have stabbed myself. A six-inch gash down to the bone was self-inflicted. She insisted that the business I built with my blood, sweat, and tears while caring for our child was OURS, NOT MINE. Is my wife’s career ours? My son and I sacrificed 14 years of constant studying to get there, suffered the consequences of her failures, and picked up the pieces with every setback. How does that work?Unfortunately, an unethical divorce attorney used Ms. Kunioka’s report to ask for custody. Two years later and more than TWO Million dollars in losses before I was finally awarded full custody. Three different sources, including an actual psychologist with a PHD and even the Guardian her attorney chose, all proved the abuse and the emotional trauma, proving Ms. Kunioka either a liar or incompetent. My son and I lost everything and almost lost our home because of a corrupt social worker. The social worker entrusted to protect children sacrificed my child and put him through two more years of hell; why? Was it a favor for someone she knew from her interactions with non-profits? Did you truly believe I wasn’t going to investigate this? Was it your bias? You should be disgusted with yourself. A judge just described the criminal you protected as disingenuous and someone who refused to acknowledge the outcome of her actions. You and your supervisor, who signed off on your report and endorsed your actions should resign. How dare you threaten to take my child? How is it that someone with a tenth of the education and experience of a Judge wields the power to remove children? You abused your power. You diminished decent women and mothers' hard work, morals, efforts, and value.
