I have been buying and selling real estate for over twenty years. Robin Glass ranks among the top agents I have worked with, if not the best. His analysis of properties is unparalleled. His knowledge of Hawaii real estate and development projects is immense. He is patient, attentive, proactive and assertive. I was an out of state buyer. I worked with Robin to find the perfect property for me and my family. This process spanned over a year. We are ultra pleased with the outcome and Robin was a big part of that. When you need surgery, you want a great doctor in your corner. When you go to court you want a great lawyer in your corner. Robin is absolutely the best Broker I've ever had. Not only is he an expert in his field, but also has a lot of knowledge in other areas that was a great bonus when I was looking for a home. He knows about and has experience with building structure, material, and foundation, and would give his honest opinion on every home we looked at on its quality. He's also an expert in the lending industry. I would have never been able to buy my house without his assistance. On top of this purchase being one of my most complicated (my 5th purchase), I worked at an extremely busy organization that left me with almost no free time, but he did all the leg-work and jumped through all hurdles that were in my way. NEVER before have I had an agent/broker work on my behalf with the lender, every step of the way, to not only get me the best deal, but also to work through all the complications. And he kept me informed all along the way. It's been over 2 years since I made that purchase, and every now and then, I still ask him questions, and as always, he responds quickly with a very detailed answer. He's also extremely patient. It took about 1 year of home-searching, where he spent many Saturday mornings showing me homes. He's very passionate about his work. His professional marketing skills also got me great tenants. About a month ago, I passed by a Realty shop and noticed a stack of brochures in the office. I walked inside to pick one up, thinking that it was current listings (more for entertainment purposes), and no intention of finding a new agent. But an agent quickly approached me with questions, and I immediately made it clear that I already have a broker (with Robin in mind). She then said that that's fine because she could help me find a Lender/Loan Officer. I told her that I don't need one of them either because my broker helps me with that. She looked confused and asked me what services my broker provided. When I told her what Robin helped me with on my last purchase, she looked shocked and said that brokers normally don't do all that but he was probably just doing me a favor, knowing how busy I was. That's the way Robin is...he goes way above and beyond! It's a nice feeling to not have to seek out a Broker, since I have Robin as my go-to (unlike California, where I'm always looking for a better Agent/Broker). But here in HI, it would be a waste of time to research because he's the best!
