        Was missing the old theater, finally saw a play tonight in the new theater and it was very nice. #TheMusicalComedyMurdersof1940 was amazingly good, with talented, high quality acting.

        Purchased a ticket for a show as a seasonal visitor. Had an unexpected conflict. Researched other dares and found available seats. Called to ask about an exchange. No. I wasn't asking for a refund but an exchange and they had available seats. Checked with manager. Still No. Quoted about what is says at time of purchase, no refund, no exchange. Only offered to season ticket holders. Clearly this business is focused on attracting seasonal visitors to Honolulu. Do not buy a ticket unless you are 100% sure you can go. Seems like a rather provincial operation.

        What a beautiful and intimate theater. The grounds are even more so. We saw the fabulous rendition of My Fair Lady tonight. Such a fabulous showing. Close your eyes and you'd think you were listening to Rex Harrison and Audrey Hepburn. Just perfect.

      Mahalo! We couldn't have done this rebuilt without the generosity of community donors who helped our nonprofit move out of our WW2 era converted movie house to our new gem of an auditorium.
