Downtown Vision

I have a very high prescription, and have had frustrating experiences with previous optometrists, whose prescribed glasses that made me feel dizzy and unbalanced. I brought this issue to Dr. Chun, and for the first time in my 35+ years of wearing prescriptive lens, I now have an understanding of what is most likely causing my discomfort, as well as what materials + types of frames I can actually consider with my high prescription (eg. thicker lens). I honestly cannot recommend Dr. Chun and his wife, Mia, who runs operations for the store, enough - truly an amazing and efficiently-run family business!

Office is clean, good selection of glasses, doctor is great. Better than Shades of California. Goes above and beyond in terms of customer service.

Great eye exam. Excellent and compassionate doctor. Was able to help us with an appointment while on vacation. Very fair. Highly recommend.

Dr. Chun was professional, informative, thorough and kind. He took his time and explained things as he conducted the exam. He advised me regarding my astigmatism and dry eye issues. He was able to determine I had the wrong prescription strength and adjusted it so that I could actually see clearly again. I no longer have to wear readers which I am extremely happy about. He fitted me for contact lenses and I will be returning to order glasses as well. I believe the woman at the front desk is Dr. Chun's wife (I apologize if I'm incorrect). She was very welcoming and kind as well. Thank you Dr. Chun. My vision has not been this good in over a decade. I am so grateful.
