Mini Garden Express

Aloha: you gotta try this spot out if your in the airport area. They food is amazing , from the ramen dishes to the Chinese plates, it's all good.

I recently visited Mini Garden Express to get their tendon soup. Soup was amazing however when I first walked in unfortunately had a incredibly disappointing experience. It was clear that customer service was not a priority. Staff seemed irritated and making me feel like an inconvenience to them.

They moved from Ranch 99 in 2023 to a small strip mall less than a mile from the airport. This is not a sit-down Jade, Kirin, Fook Yoon or Kapiolani Seafood quality, but for the price you cant go wrong. Also, if youre looking for food to take on a flight, this strip mall may satisfy every family members taste with Subway, Bale, Aloha Sushi, Nimitz Korean BBQ, Nimitz Mart and Papas Deli & Bento. This is a local family run type place. Order at counter to eat in or take out. Lady taking orders was efficient, not super friendly.All food is served in Togo containers. There is one person taking orders and packing items which may be an issue for cross contamination. We order spring rolls, shrimp fried rice and Singapore noodles for $37. Portions were huge and incredibly affordable. We all enjoyed the yummy food. I have had better however the price was higher and portions were smaller. Solid lunch/dinner option. Would like to add a lady was cooking up wontons and noods that looked really good. If there wasn't a line I would have ordered then too.

Glad they have found a new location after Chinatown and the former Ranch 99 locations closed.
