Its been 5 years since I been here. Same awesome experience and friendly people. They do a good job on mens, womens, and kids hair too. Tao, Anna, Winnie, and the others always do a great job. Make sure you make an appointment because Mays Salon can get busy very fast highly recommend for all ages.

Anna has been cutting my hair expeditiously for over a year. I've been told my hair is difficult to cut my whole life and typically hair stylist will not get it right until the the 3rd or 4th time. She got it right the 1st time & told me how easy is to cut so I will continue to see her. The only other time someone cut my hair correctly the first time was when I paid over $80 + tip at a high end salon. At May's salon I can get it cut for $20 & because she does such a nice job I usually give her a $10 cash tip. I highly recommend Anna at May's Salon. They even wash your hair without charging extra. Anna is such a phenomal stylist! I'm picky where I get my haircuts now that I'm thinning up top. I explained my situation and asked for open feedback/input. She took her time and gave valuable insight into how I can manage my hair. I thought I was doomed to the combover, but she was able to give me a trendy, age appropriate, spikey look . I'll be back in two weeks! Thanks Anna!

I went in for a basic trim. I asked for 2 inch trim. I did not ask for anything else. The hairdresser decided to layer my hair and thin my hair. I did NOT ask for layers or for my hair to be thinned. My hair is already fine and thin it did not need to be thinned. I wear my hair in braids for work. My hairs falls out of the braids very easy due to my hair type and adding layers and thinning my hair makes it just fall of the the braid. I look like a frizzy mess in like an hour. It is going to take me forever to grow my hair back to where it was before.
