Like a car rental; take photos of the bin you receive and take photos before it's pickup !!! HTM will charges insane prices, $700 sq ft for bin damage; this means dents, holes and scratches.
Plus, invoices are due immediately or a 1% fee will accrue (daily??)

To HTM Management-
For clarity, paying for damage is not the issue; mistakes happen we use heavy equipment. Dumpers bins serve a function, a transport vessel for trash. The damage we inflicted was minor, no gaping hole. THE ISSUE: $700 sq ft to add a patch & paint; not reasonable or fair. It seems, damage charges are an easy making tactic. We rented a dumpster from this company. When they dropped it off, they destroyed our rock mailbox. Honest mistake and I get that. Rather than hold them responsible for the entire amount of repair, we asked for a discount off the dumpster. They refused to take any responsibility, pointing to a section in the contract (which was not pointed out to us) which they believe absolves them from liability for any damages to property. They have now run our credit card for the entire amount. I would not use this company again. This behavior demonstrates poor professionalism and customer service.
Update-
The company is blaming us for “insisting” the driver place the bin despite his concerns. We were told by the company that there could be damage to limbs. We were not told they didn’t think there was enough room to avoid damaging the rock wall. We did not insist on anything and it’s pretty insulting to blame us for this incident.

Thank you Kai, Kimo and the crew, and staff at HTM Contractors for helping my family with such a daunting task of clearing out my parents’ property that was full of junk. Over the decades my father accumulated junk and has never been able to make his home a proper one. Sadly, he suffered a fall last year and is in a care home. Now was the time to make the property a proper home for my mom and family to enjoy. It was a pleasure to work with Kai in coordinating in what I felt was a difficult task. Kai reassured me that HTM could handle the task and would like to assist my family. On removal day, the crew was professional and asked to walk around and assess the property and confirm what was going and staying. The property has a lot of stairs and I know how exhausting it is to have to repeatedly go up and down those stairs. I can only imagine what it was like for the crew to deal with those stairs while hauling junk! Yet the guys did not utter a sigh or complaint of any kind. They worked with a can-do attitude and did the job in good spirit! When removing indoor furniture, the guys were thoughtful and offered to take off their shoes which was not necessary. I loved that they asked and showed respect for someone’s home. You are all great to work with and I can’t thank you enough for giving my family a fresh start! I highly recommend HTM Contractors for your junk removal needs - big or small! Service: Debris removal
