Z/A Studio - Honolulu

When I started training at the ZA Honolulu location, I quickly fell in love with the style of teaching. I haven't experienced anything like this class here on Oahu and I am so grateful to have found this community. ZA Studio is a transformative space for actors, offering unparalleled opportunity to hone their craft. Our teachers fly in every weekend from either SF or LA, to teach us the necessary skills to flourish in this industry. From scene study to career administration, ZA equips their students with the necessary tools to succeed both on and off the stage. Where would I be without this class? Its a scary thought, really. This class, these students, and these teachers helped me learn a lot about myself. I hate to think about what my life would look like if I had never been fortunate enough to stumble upon Z/A studios. Its a fun and safe space to grow, learn, and work on your craft as an actor. The room is filled with kind, friendly, motivated, and talented artists! It truly is a pleasure getting to learn with, and learn from these wonderful people!

Best acting school on the island! I started out with Z/A a couple of years ago (with just my hopes and dreams in my back pocket lol) but with all the scene work and exercises weve done in class, Ive turned my acting dreams into reality! Ive been cast in a couple of local theatre roles and Ive gotten the confidence to start shooting for tv and film roles. Grateful for all Ive been learning from Rob, Peter and Jennii!

After my first audit, I knew this was the acting school I needed to help me become a better actor. Over the last four years, I have learned how to create detailed and more specific characters for auditions and roles that I book. At Z/A we learn more than just scene study. We also study notable movies and plays of all genres past and present to be the most knowledgeable actor in the room or on set. I have learned so much from Rob and Peter and truly cherish the time I have spent with this welcoming community of actors.
