Dr. Patrick Ellison

I had mohs surgery in July 2023 with Dr. Ellison, whom I had never met before. I'm from Maui and have heard rave reviews about Dr. Ellison from family members and friends who have all realized great results. Dr. Ellison was kind and aware that mohs surgery is very scary to patients that have never had it before, especially on the face. My not insignificant scar looks great and my Dr. on Maui said that it looks amazing and that I have the best result possible and that he himself could not have done a better job. No one even sees my scar unless I point it out. Thank you Dr. Ellison for helping me. I so appreciate your expertise and bedside manner.

I have been a patient of Dr. Patrick Ellison for several years. I am so grateful to have found him and trust him completely with my dermatological issues. His welcoming, friendly demeanor immediately put me at ease. In discussing his plan for my care, he was confident and decisive with his recommendations, going out of his way to communicate about what he would be doing and to check in with me to see if I had any questions or concerns. I am happy to recommend Dr. Ellison without any reservation and look forward to continuing to be his patient for many years.

This is a group review for Bowyer, Ellison, and Mori with Bowyer at the helm. Let this man retire. I can't testify for how the man used to be as a healthcare provider, but what I do know is that he has all but completely checked out of the healthcare profession. He does not care. I cannot judge him on his surgical skills or his nursing staff or any of that because he couldn't even keep to the treatment plan before I entered the door. There were two major observations that I, as a patient, do not want to see from a surgeon: indecisiveness and convolution, and there they were staring me right in the face before I could even say 'hello.' Do not go to these guys: Bowyer, Ellison and Mori. Maybe the young one will be good in a few years, but let these other guys go. Find help somewhere else; I am certain this is the quiet message that they are trying to send us. Who knows what's going on with these guys? Drinking? Bad Marriages? Lost a patient? Suicidal? Just old and cranky? But I sure as day am not going to let them put a knife next to my throat while they've got personal jitters and neither should you, which is incredibly disappointing because I wasn't looking for surgeons because it's the trendy, fun thing to do right now; I was there because for the moment my family needs me alive. What has happened to the safety of America when the chief naval surgeon is failing us? Thank the man, and let him go. Time for new blood. Insert Expletive Here.

Aloha. I was diagnosed with Basil Cell cancer of the right ear, and was referred to Doctor Patrick Ellison. We were greeted at Mohs Micrographic Surgery with a warm reception from Mariah, who made the process of checking in super easy. The facility is immaculate, warm and very welcoming. Assistants Rizza, Diane and Mariah were absolutely amazing. Each person we met was warm, caring, professional and knowledgeable. We only waited five minutes before being called by Diane, who greeted us and guided us to the examine room. Once in the examine room we were greeted by Rizza, assistant to Doctor Ellison. Within a couple of minutes Doctor Ellison entered the exam room and explained the process. He was very clear and articulate. Words cannot express what a great doctor he is. Without question, Doctor Ellison is absolutely a Gold Star doctor. His surgical skills in removing my cancer and stitching me up were painless. I felt very comfortable and totally at ease. Doctor Ellison also immediately put my wife at ease with his calm, professional and friendly mannerisms. Words cannot express our appreciation and gratitude for the removal of my cancer and the treatment we received. Mahalo. Dan Sparks

Dr. Ellison deserves a 10. His chairside manner is completely comforting. His focus on making sure I was completely understanding of my options helped to keep me relaxed. His knowledge, his professionalism, and his craftsmanship are to the highest level. GOOD JOB DR.!
