Terrible leadership! My daughter went to this school and the fill in Director (Ernie) was rude, unprofessional, disrespectful and distasteful. I was trying to explain to her how CCA works with the reimbursement for the military because apparently she didnt know as the director and what the prior director Chanel had told us when we signed up that what we paid for the first month we will be reimbursed for the second month for our part of the bill and we could have it as a credit on the account or they could give us a check and she wasnt trying to hear anything I was telling her. The Director Chanel had left so I couldnt go back and speak to her The other Director I spoke to was Kelly and she agreed with my credit and told me to submit my attendance form to CCA by the 25th so they could get paid in a timely manner. When I told the Director Erine this she said Kelly didnt agree with me according to her notes on the account. So that left me saying well why would she tell me she did if she didnt? Kelly is the Director at the Pearl City location. It was like Ernie mind was set to seeing it her way and that was it. The conversation went nowhere very fast. I tried to reach the owner (Dana) at the corporate office and the receptionist Tresser Decided to pick and chose when she wanted to answer the phone and when she didnt want to answer. Tresser told me Stacy the area manager would reach back out to me. And that never happened. So I sent an email to every on their board because no one seem to take my situation seriously. Overall the customer service for this organization is very questionable. If the director (Ernie) was like this with me I can only imagine how she handles talking with a child when they are trying to explain something to her. So we withdraw our child from this location! The owner Dana did respond to my email and said an investigation will be taking place but we havent heard back from her yet!

I would give them less if I could. First they start off by announcing to kids grades 4 and younger that their leader died instead of letting the parents tell their own children. Then the leaders who took over were just nasty and mean to the kids. I know of 5 kids from the same class who's parents pulled them out. The people in charge should not be working with children. They run it like it's a prison.

Beware of this facility! My son attended this daycare less than two months, I began searching else ware because of how dissatisfied I was. This daycare is less than 3 minutes from my work, extremely convenient.  I applied to several daycares in the area including the CDC after becoming displeased with Kama'aina Kids. Thankfully we got accepted to the CDC. Kama'aina Kids is under staffed, my son was constantly being hit because the children here were not being looked after like they should be. When dropping off and picking up you must wait at the gate for a staff member to take/get your child and have you sign them in/out but the biggest problem is half the time no staff member was nearby and you are left ringing their door bell until someone finally comes to greet you. For me I drop my son off at daycare so that I can go to work, not wait around on the staff I am paying $1100. Speaking of the cost this place charges more than its even worth it's a dump. I never received a tour but from the outside it looked terrible. I never saw 1 piece of work that my son did here so I doubt he was even being taught. When filling out the application for this place be sure to take notice how they are practically begging for donations. How pathetic.I would also like to add that they make you give a 1 month notice before pulling your child out of their facility, any other daycare is 2 weeks. If you are accepted to the CDC they waive the notice timeframe. Also, they will not refund you any of your monthly payment you make. So just keep in mind that they are a money hungry daycare, they do not have the best intentions for your child.

We couldn't be happier with the service provided for our daughter, Kaia. The staff was amazing and our 2 month experience was very memorable. We would recommend this day care to anyone. Kyle and Christina

JR from A+ Kahala Elementary School is above outstanding in his care for my son. He is very understanding and empathetic for families in this case specifically my family as a single parent. I have been a director overseeing 47 teachers in a DOD civilian position juggling military as well as local families many years. So I know when I see outstanding characteristics !  I have also been a teacher myself in a classroom and JR has consistently displayed patience with my son and wiitnessing -listening to how he Interacts with other  children, resolving conflicts and much more.  He knows my child on a one on one basis; if he is having a bad day or is down and out, etc.  I wish there was more  genuine teachers whO actually care about the future generation like JR!
