Property professionals is by far the best property management /Realty establishment I have ever dealt with .Brenda and Donna are truly beautiful people they show so much aloha and love for the people of Hawaii and beyond they treat you like family from the moment you walk in the door you feel nothing but aloha and when you leave nothing but aloha and blessings, I have had the opportunity to deal with many different realtors / property management companies here in Hilo and in Hawaii and they are by far the best I have ever had the opportunity to deal with .dont waste your time or energy going anywhere else cause property pros truly and genuinely are the best at what they do in all Hawaii ALOHA

They will not rent to white people, period. And in this 3rd world country there is apparently nothing you can do about it. Apparently I stole their country and so Brenda won't rent to me? Whatever. These people are horrible. Avoid

Worst rental company I've ever dealt with as a renter. Overall a very bad experience. The house I rented from them in Hilo was pretty much trailer home quality on blocks, but they acted like they were protecting the Taj Mahal with their contracts and policies. They made me put my son on the lease as being financially responsible. They didn't maintain the grounds. They had bushes all around the house and coqui frogs flourished. It was impossible to sleep. That and they had a rooster directly behind the paper thin walls. We tried every brand of earplug and nothing worked. The rental agent would drive by the place on a regular basis and contact you about mowing when the grass was reasonable. They ended the agreement early, saying they had to sell the home and cut the lease short. Of course they allowed for that in all legal paperwork they make you sign. I had to pay a security deposit matching the rent at $1,600. Not only did they end the lease early forcing us to find another place to live; they kept the security deposit and sent legal paperwork demanding over $700 more. There was no damage to the property. If you have another option for a rental in Hilo, I'd pick them!

I have rented from Property Professionals in the past from 2014-2017. I had the BEST experience with them as my property managers. Kevin was my agent and he was by far the kindest landlord I have had. He held integrity for his homeowners and did well to check on the home frequently. This year, 2022. I applied here again. This time around I felt like some of the other reviews that because of my race, maybe homes were going to other people, NOT TRUE! Most reviews said because they were white they were not rented to, I felt because I was brown I was not rented to, the truth is, its NOT about race, but rather the housing market is extremely difficult on the Big Island. More and more people are moving to this island, leaving less and less available units. Be diligent people. Submit applications without expecting things. One thing about property pros management is that someone ALWAYS answers your call during business hours. I did not get to rent here because the home I applied to was viewed and accepted by someone who had their application approved before me. Many individual factors go into approving your application, one of which, is YOUR references have to be reliable to contact and verify info. All office staff that I have spoken to are professional and genuine. I called many times and did not get answers I wanted to hear, hung up crying too, but that wasn't personal. They are just doing their job and i appreciated the ability to always reach someone.
