I used Silverton Mortgage who is the preferred Lender for Legacy Homes which is the company I chose to build my new construction home. Normally with a preferred lender the mentality is, well I will tolerate them in exchange for the few thousand towards closing I am being compensated, but with Silverton Mortgage that was absolutely not the case. It was actually a real pleasure working with them and Silverton was amazingly better than the previous lenders I had worked with; sadly, even better than my own bank was during my last mortgage. Kristin Ardal was quick to communicate to do items that were necessary for the closing. She explained which deadlines were flexible and which were not allowing for the prioritization of tasks so the closing was a smooth process. Her additional knowledge of the in's and outs of choosing lock in and lock in extensions for mortgage interest rates proved vital in securing an affordable mortgage at an interest rate that was well below what the market rates ended up being. I was so impressed with Silverton Mortgage. Manager Jake Heiserman and his team worked hard to get us into our home. They were responsive and professional. We are so happy with how we were treated getting our home loan through Silverton. Amazing company.
