My son and I went for lunch and we both give it a 5. The food was excellent and the atmosphere is inviting. Thank you Jon!

Three years ago on yelp I gave you a five star rating. I am sad that the food has deteriorated so much. I often bring friends and relatives here and lately been disappointed with the food and often the service. While yesterdays service with Molly was good, the food was not up to standard. I hesitated for months to review Century House again even though the decline was noticeable. The hamburger we ordered that was supposed to be medium was raw. Only ate less than 1/4 that was on the outside edge that was cooked enough. The bottom bun was so soggy you couldnt pick it up. The short rib sandwich too was so soggy it couldnt be picked up. BUT it was the lack of taste that made most of this sandwich stay there when we left. It wasnt good!! The only good things were the service and the potato curly fries. Not sure if Tuesday gets the second string chef or just having a bad day. I hate going out and not enjoying the food. It has been a long time since I last enjoyed eating at the century house. Enough is enough. Parking: About 8 parking spots.

I had a profoundly disappointing experience at Century House in Woodstock today. I've been there a dozen times before. Today was memorable in an unfortunate way. Despite the restaurant being barely a quarter full, the service was shockingly slow and inattentive. It took an astonishing 35 minutes just to have drinks brought to our table after being seated. The wait for our food was even longer, dragging on for 40 minutes. To make matters worse, the server assigned to our table was extremely disrespectful and rude, a behavior that completely tarnished what should have been a pleasant dining experience. Out of respect for privacy, I won't mention the server's name, but this occurred today between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. I am truly disheartened by the lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed, and I cannot foresee myself returning or recommending this place to anyone.
