Watkinsville First Baptist Church

I have been connected to WFBC for well over a decade. Both my kids were born into this church and when my parents relocated to the area, they also got plugged in. We represent 3 generations at a church full of opportunities for growth in the Christian walk, worship, and service. The music is phenomenal and Bible-centered and the pastor is a humble, servant-leader who is personable despite the churchs size and unapologetically dedicated to the relentless preaching of the Word. Opportunities for community and missions abound and genuine love for both God and others radiates here.

Ive been a few times as a guest. Praise group (singing team) is absolutely amazing, but Pastor Carlos is very unorganized in his thoughts and his public speaking isnt very good. Its very hard to stay engaged in his sermon, which stinks because the church is beautiful and has very kind people, but The Pastor doesnt match the vibe and energy of the rest of the church. Its a definite mismatch between the church and the pastor.
