I've been to Lemongrass before with my daughter for prom makeup. I love the building, it's relaxing. When my daughters bought me a gift card for Christmas I was so excited. With 3 kids in college I don't spend any time or money on myself. I looked forward to this appointment, they (the kids)thought I'd get a massage, but I decided on a hydro facial . I wasn't happy at all. It was uncomfortable, I cried during procedure, it was not relaxing at all and nothing was explained. I ve worked with patients for 34 years now, and I can only hope none of them had the experience I did today. I'm not sure if it was the lack of communication, although I told her this was my first time.. or if it was the provider. I truly wish I had chosen a massage .... We all strive in customer service for a 5 star review, but I do believe everyone needs to know when things aren't right. *just noticed a reply from owner 1) you did not explain anything to me, you hardly said 2 words. 2) I tipped you because that's the person I am, I tip restaurant workers the same amount whether or not the service was good 3) I also gave you a 4 star review, instead of much less because I didn't feel my bad experience should effect your rating, again, the type of person I am. 4) I never asked for free services, you offered a few add ons, I declined them all. What I can't understand is how a business owner could accuse the customer of lying.( I WAS crying and breathing erratically) She wrote all of my personal information from my forms on this page , isn't that a privacy violation? I walked out with my mouth wide opened in shock of what just took place. I was so looking forward to this treat and it ended up being the total opposite. Although appalled, I'm glad that the owners response is out there for all to see, I'm sure the response will get more negative press than my initial review(with 4 star review) will get. A simple apology would have been sufficient.

Heather, Well I am so surprised about review "WOW". I personally went over every step of the Hydra Facial before we even started. And I explained the steps 1. Cleanse & Exfoliation 2.Acid Peel 3.Extractions 4. Hydration and serums. Because you were a mask all day you had serval deep blackheads on your nose, chin and redness, broken capillaries. You were concern about a red spot under your eye that you said had been there for years. So I added on for free our red out serum and added your LED RED lights for free that saved you $50.00 LED $ 25.00 SERUM AT NO CHARGE. Then I gave you FREE SERUM TO TAKE HOME TO HELP YOUR REDNESS. When I was doing your service not ONCE did I see you cry. You almost fall asleep. Trust me, If I saw you crying or tears coming out I would has stopped immediately. I have been doing "Skin Care since 2004" and Hydra Facial since 2014, Because of me that's why the Hydra Facial got started in Valdosta Ga. I went back and watched the cameras at our check out, you had not been crying, you seemed happy and even tipped me. The Hydra Facial is a exfoliation which I explained and I had you on a very low low volume, nothing aggressive. I do apologize that I did the extractions on your areas where you had lots of black heads, which once again I did not charge you for and spent the time cleaning out your deep pores because on your facial form your concerns where oily/skin/large pores/wrinkles/aging and you wrote that you were noticing more large pores since menopause and wrinkles. I personality feel like I gave you the what you wanted. Sorry you felt like you needed to bash me on google instead of calling me or telling me after your service. I would had been willing to make it up to me and talk about. But now I am on here defending myself because I know I AM DAMN GOOD AT MY JOB AND I TAKE IT VERY SERIOUS. LISTEN LEARNED NEVER GIVE AWAY FREE SERVICES , SERUMS LED LIGHTS AND PRODUCTS OH AND LOTS OF EXTRACTIONS TO MAKE SOMEONES PORES LOOK BETTER. Wasn't my time on doing it. Have a bless day, once again sorry you felt like you had a trouble experience.MICHELLE LAMB
