As my fathers caregiver I needed help understanding his Medicare and Medicaid. I had been paying for a supplemental insurance out of pocket on top of that just to make sure he was completely covered. I Googled Medicare help in my area and MSIS popped up. I called and got Howard Goldsteins voicemail. I didnt leave a message but he called me back within the hour using the number that appeared on his caller id. I explained that I needed help navigating my fathers healthcare and he invited my father and I to meet in his office in a matter of minutes. He helped us is an understatement. Most people give you bits and pieces of information and leave you to your own devices to interpret given information. Howard Goldstein went above and beyond to give us a complete understanding of our options. He walked us through the whole process of getting my father Medicare Advantage coverage with little to no cost out of pocket. He explained how Medicaid would work in conjunction with the new Medicare Advantage coverage. And helped us cancel the supplemental insurance with a possible chance of a significant refund.
