The rooms are average, but the service is next level. When I checked in I went to confirm the shuttle to the airport and Brittany called to schedule it, she was told "they no longer do that" she did not take no for an answer she pushed through and got the answer I needed. And it happened as planned. What a Rockstar, thank you Brittany for good old fashioned customer service. JD picked up where she left off in the AM making sure the shuttle was infact coming and that I had a bag of breakfast.

Imagine a 15 hour drive with your emotional mother in law after a hellish 3 hour family therapy session with your ex. Now imagine you started the drive at 9pm , by midnight realizing your ambitious goal was foolish , at best. MIL is backseat driving and telling you how to raise the kids, you grip the wheel and consider barreling off a bridge into the void.
6 hours in, too late to book a room that will let you check in before 3pm. You and MIL will surely be dead by then , or youll be bald from the stress.
Days inn in Valdosta Ga is halfway,& one room left w one bed. As your teeth become dust from clenching your jaw, you book, & call the 24 hr desk hoping for a miracle. Sounds bad to imagine , right? Well it was my reality. So I called the front desk at 2am.
From how things have gone this entire trip , I expect to be met with more of the same incompetence or not my job laziness that Ive been dealing with all week.
But to my surprise, Quay answered the phone and was delightfully helpful. She assured us we could check in at 4:30 am or anytime we liked. She noticed the stress in my voice and alleviated a ton of tense anxiety with humor and a great attitude.
When we arrived, she was just as helpful in person and although Id booked the last king bed, she found a way to get us into 2 queen beds instead (proof theres a God if you ask me). The room is bright and clean and right off i75. Comfy bed . And although Ive ground my teeth to a pulp, I hear breakfast is free.
Give Quay a raise. Or a Nobel prize or something. She single-handedly saved an old womans life and a medium old womans sanity all at once.

Leslie was very helpful. The sheets were super soft and room was pristine. I hope to stay here again. Great experience!!
