West Towne Cottages

The neighborhood is wonderful. But Ive lived here 11 months and 3 management companies They were redoing roofs when we moved. And they stopped at the house next to me. The roof tiles sat for 5 months then they finally removed without fixing roof. And every time is changed over theres a new way to pay rent. Our dishwasher isnt working well. Maintenance said he doesnt know about dishwashers and told me to wash by hand. But the biggest issue is the wall plate for dryer hook up. It was damaged when we moved in. You cant put the hose over it. Its covered with multiple thick layers of paint. You cant fit it inside since it looks like someone hit it with a hammer to make it work. I asked for it to be replaced they came out and put a metal piece and shoved the dryer flush against the wall. Second time they still wont repair. But struggled it on. And it popped off from the pressure of the decreased diameter. Third time they put foam to attach it. Its a $20 part but they are refusing to replace. At this point our fire alarm goes off when we use the dryer. See the pictures below. The picture with all the lint is after a month of a fix. Lint is pouring out from the gaps.

Before west town became a pegausus community it was a hot mess no communication a lot of run around and no answers but now Mrs. Sherry is in that office and she gave it a 360 spin thank goodness and thank you Ms.Sherry

West Towne Cottages has the worst property management of any rental location I have ever lived. There has been constant changeover between management companies and they have consistently gotten worse. There is no care whatsoever for tenants that are constantly taken advantage of and not communicated with. I found out the new management company had taken over only by an auto-reply message to an email I had sent to the previous property management company. Never did the current property management company reach out to me or offer any assistance with the new payment system they had established which has been a failure. Shockingly, when I did reach out to the new company they didnt even know I was a tenant. The new rent payment system has been a disaster it does not allow me to add my bank account to it. The current property management company is not flexible at all with this and has offered no assistance after multiple pleas from myself. This past month they failed to even charge me with my rent until I sent an email reminder to them, at which point they added a $150 late fee that they refuse to withdraw. If I could give zero stars I would I regret choosing to ever live in West Towne Cottages.

If I could give zero stars I would this complex is completely unprofessional. I paid $90 to apply for this apartment complex $75 for the application and $15 for the money order and to express ship it to them. They received my money order and application MONDAY they did not get back to me until FRIDAY to tell me I was denied. & since HELEN likes to correct me on referring to this apartment complex AS YOU GUYS lets speak about her. She was very rude and unprofessional she specifically told me 7 people walked into apply mind you I was more than willing to drive FOUR HOURS to apply in person and pay and she insisted that I just email her the application and send a money order. She also told me that I would be approved. This company denied me wrongfully based off a credit score that is completely in accurate and they had no sympathy whatsoever. The property manager VICKY was completely rude she did not care about anything I had to say to her she just kept repeating youre denied and its nothing we can do about it and that I would not get my money back. I tried my best to explain to her that the company they are using has the wrong credit score for me and that I ebener even retrieved notification a credit check was done this lady tells me if I raise my voice at her one more time shell hang up mind you I was not even raising my voice at her in fact I was crying because of how stressful it is trying to explain they have the WRONG credit score. Goodluck on applying to this place these people need serious help.
