Hands down the best eye center in town, I literally been going here for over 9 years and Doctor Jones has been the same genuine and authentic person. He will go above and beyond to make sure that you have the best care possible; while always making you laugh. You will not leave his office without understanding what he went over within your exam. If you want a doctor that actually cares and makes you feel like family, then this should be your home! Ms. Nicholas

Best optometrists Ive ever had the pleasure to deal with. Very friendly, and always looking to help. They do a great job at making you feel like they are there for your every needs concerning your eyes and that is priceless.

I typically refrain from leaving reviews, but after enduring two years of appointments with Georgia Eye Center, I feel compelled to shed light on the concerning atmosphere cultivated within this establishment. My initial visit with Dr. Jones on 5/19/22 was indeed intriguing. The office exuded a solemn ambiance, albeit somewhat welcoming. The initial consultation went smoothly; however, during the subsequent consult in his office I found out that he is a very condescending man. He is clearly an intelligent person who has earned his accolades but has never had a conversation with a human being, and it seems in his perspective anyone who doesnt boast a particular title deserves to be reminded of their place. I realized that I was not viewed as a patient but rather an 18-year-old to be spoken to as if I had no education and a mere transaction to bolster his financial gain. Not to mention my mother was witnessing this at the same time. Despite being repeatedly corrected on trivial matters and subjected to challenges regarding my capabilities, I was left with questions as to why this had happened. Fast forward to today, 4/1/24, where I encountered a consistent attitude among the staff. To preface Id like to consider myself articulate enough to at least get to a common understanding. However, I refuse to accept the disrespectful treatment I received. During a recent attempt to schedule an appointment, I was met with snide remarks from an unnamed staff member. Upon stating I would call back to confirm a suitable date, the response was dismissive and disparaging. He then proceeded to say, I figured as much. I quickly ended the call with, Oh wow, Okay, Goodbye. When I ended the call, I was stunned by the unprofessionalism displayed. Of course, as any young adult would do, I called my mother, who then called him to gauge the situation. He proceeded to tell her to apologize to me on his behalf. Still, the staff member justified their rudeness by claiming I sounded insecure, a flimsy excuse reminiscent of training from the Atlanta Housewife School on sassiness and attitude. There is truly no justification for his actions or comments. If he felt that I was truly insecure, making comments to further shade me was not the smartest way to do it. Within a less than five-minute call, this man felt that he had already gauged the type of person I am and assumingly responded accordingly. The lack of decency, professionalism, and simple customer service skills amongst the staff is astonishing. I didnt call with any hostility or malice but thats what I got. I truly do feel for every single person in that office because you all are clearly unhappy. From where I stand, the only insecure person I know is the man who gets on the phone with a twenty-year-old and makes shady comments. I truly wish everyone in that office the best, but just a suggestion, being kind goes a long way. For those reading this review and thinking maybe this young lady is making things up, she had a bad day, or this is typical behavior for my age please hold your comments. For everyone looking to come here, you are honestly taking a gamble with the treatment you receive. It's disheartening to experience such treatment, and I have decided to take my business elsewhere.

Update: I visited Dr. Jones and his team for my annual follow-up. I can say that the experience was as incredible as it was during my first visit and I appreciate the consistency. The front office team are diligent about reaching out to schedule and remind you of upcoming appointments and are always professional and welcoming. Dr. Jones makes me feel valued. Though he is the expert, he listens attentively to my concerns and takes the time to explain everything with transparency and in a manner that is easily understood. He is very patient and understanding (his humor is icing on the cake). I genuinely appreciate that. I know I can trust his judgment and feel that I am receiving the best eye care ever with each visit. I highly recommend Dr. Jones for all of your eye care needs. Today was my first appointment with Georgia Eye Center and it was an amazing experience. My first contact was with Ms. Linda who was always patient, friendly, professional, and a great initial welcome. When work became busy and I failed to follow-up at the start of the year, Ms. Linda took the time to call reminding me about the follow-up which was greatly appreciated. When I met Dr. Jones, the laughter began. Not so say that having a sense of humor negates his skills b/c it absolutely does not but rather it added to the welcoming environment. Dr. Jones explained my condition to me which was the first time I felt I understood it and could explain it myself. He left me feeling optimistic in knowing that there are options to improve my vision.
