We appreciate the Dekalb Chamber of Commerce so much for making an impact in our community and the small businesses in our area. The chamber is forward thinking, hard working and determined to set its members up for mutual success.

The main purpose of a chamber of commerce is for business networking. This includes everything from connections to relationships to promotions to visibility. January 2020 is well on it’s way and according to the events calendar, there is only one event and one executive meeting every month for the next 6 months and even less after that. Not one business before hours meeting. Not one business after hours meeting. No small business classes or meetings. The website is full of initiatives and plans but no events are actually taking place in real time. This chamber is in a county with several decent sized cities and has well over a hundred businesses as active members but what are members paying hundreds of dollars in annual fees for? A ribbon cutting ceremony? Just to say they are apart of an organization, have their name listed on the website and a shout out on Twitter? The new comers guide hasn’t even been updated since 2018. What does this chamber actually do or am I missing something?

Chamber but wondering why you have no reviews. Why should I join your organization as opposed to another that has recent reviews?
