University Hospital McDuffie: Emergency Room

Dont go to this er in the morning the doctor there doesnt do anything for any patient nothing is a medical emergency to him he will send you home do no tests nothing not sure what the doctors name was. They pick and choose the patients to see first weather you get a room first or not I dont recommend this hospital to anyone and god forbid you have an anxiety disorder they will leave you hanging for hours do no tests just because you have anxiety

Atrocious place. Long wait times even with nobody in the lobby, and pretty empty parking lot. Walked out and went somewhere else for care. Wouldn't come here if I was dying.

This was the very first time I've ever had to go to the hospital (knock on wood) and had to go back for surgery almost immediately. The staff was so friendly and willing to help me in any way possible, specially when I was in a predicament that I really couldn't do for myself. They talked to me calmly knowing my nerves were about shot. Even after surgery everyone was amazing and was steady checking on me. Dr. Wills was amazing surgeon and I couldn't have asked for better one. Now there was a nurse that worked that very night named Sharon on the 2nd floor. Yall better not let her go! She was super sweet, and helpful. She went over and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and ever needed anything. She is a true gem. I really hope this hospital keeps shining the way it is.

My daughter was refused care because my husband who took her to the ER wasn't wearing a mask. They threatened to call the cops. UNACCEPTABLE. They turned away a 5 year old who is throwing up. I will be making a formal complaint during regular business hours tomorrow.

Dont bother going if somethings wrong but you also have high blood pressure because blood pressure is the only thing theyre going to focus on. Save yourself the trouble and go to Augusta.
