Hampton Inn Thomasville

I came in tonight with my 5 kids and a reservation that I booked two weeks ago. We drove 6 hours down to spend Easter with our family that lives here. I am 6 months pregnant and was told by Ingrid that I needed two rooms because I had 5 kids, of which one was a 10 month old baby. She refused to give me a room unless I reserved two rooms. I have never been so upset in my life! Everytime I come into town, I stay at the Hampton inn, Ive always had GREAT experiences with the staff(Ive always arrived during the day also, so I dont know if that made a difference in the friendliness and professionalism of the staff) but I was appalled at how rude Ingrid was to me and my kids! My kids are all 10 and under so Im not understanding the two rooms when Ive always gotten one everytime Ive come and its never been an issue! These are little kids for Gods sake! I feel like I was discriminated against and I will be taking legal action. I went down the street to Holiday Inn and suites and was treated so nicely and had no issue getting a room. Ingrid should treat her guests with more professionalism and empathy! Not to mention I am 6 months pregnant! Smh. Ive never been so embarrassed in my life.

Had our son and his girlfriend stay here when they came down because my wife had a stroke. They stated place was very noisy, pool was dirty, hot tub was not working and had to ask for towels. Shower in room had no shampoo or conditioner as bottles were empty. We have stayed with Hampton Inn all over the United States and we are Honors members and for price we paid for stay this is inexcusable! We will be having other family visiting but will not be staying here.
