Bought our 2nd home this summer, working with Jon and his team at The Perpetual for the first time - they couldnt have been more professional and easy to work with during the entire process. Our rate was so competitive up front, and their service was so on point, that I had zero reason to waste my time shopping around. This team will be who we recommend to all of our family and friends in the future! To Jon, Ed, Stephanie, and Adrienne, thank you!

An absolutely horrible experience with Stephanie there, we are glad we canceled my mortgage application with this firm and chose another one. We have an excellent credit and thankfully had multiple great options for my mortgage. With this firm, specifically Stephanie Trimble the VP & Maria Baran weve experienced a quite shady and dishonest treatment, extremely unprofessional, with lots of inappropriate pressure and manipulation and hidden, as well as completely undisclosed until the very last minute info. Thankfully, weve done mortgage with another good local firm. Maria Baran at The Perpetual wasnt straightforward or professional either. When we requested to speak with their president - they did all they could to not let us speak with him and even threw some ridiculous threats for asking to talk to him. Many absolutely horrendous and odd reactions, threats happened here. Especially with Stephanie Trimble, who has demonstrated some psychotic and obnoxious patterns of attacking behavior methods. It was apparent that both Stephanie and Maria Baran just didnt want us to notify the president Jon (their boss) of their practices. Many things they did felt extremely shady. Every day there was something new and shocking in their requests or threats in case if you dont follow their demand. For example they were keeping coming up with new deadlines to submit payment for some new paid course about which they failed to notify from the beginning. And when we asked to clarify on where this new deadline came from or to speak with the president about it, they just came up with random threats which were the last drop in our patience. We gave them enough of benefit of a doubt at first, but we should have ran away much faster. Big lesson learned: never deal with people who felt shady, rude, inadequate and unprofessional from the beginning. No need for any benefit of a doubt here. Run from these persons as far as you can. Never had a chance to speak with Jon either. When we requested these two women to confirm that they withdrew our application at our request, they stopped responding. The mortgage firm we decided to go with asked us to provide a clear confirmation that they withdrew it, & Stephanie refused to provide any clear confirmation. When my spouse tried to dial her to politely ask to provide a brief written confirmation which we could forward to another mortgage firm, she replied with some random psychotic threats of legal prosecution for (wait for it:) the attempt to get such confirmation ?! Thats just one of the insane things to mention, the list unfortunately can go on & on, about Stephanie Trimble specifically. She even hinted on going after us (& possibly using our personal info) in attempt to go against us if we speak to Jon about our dissatisfaction, or else. Just crazy. We wonder if Jon has any idea how this woman treats his clients
I wish someone warned me not to deal with these persons, thats why Im posting our honest review to help others to make the right decisions, who they apply for mortgages with.
