My nephew went here and an incident occurred that resulted in a hospital visit and after multiple discussions with the director, Tiffanie, it was determined that they would cover the medical expenses. Its now April and my sister received a final bill due to the resolving the outstanding balance.

Full disclosure this place was amazing - until it wasnt. I had absolutely nothing bad to say or no bad experiences for the nearly 1.5 years my son attended this daycare until an incident occurred in November 2023. In November of last year I was washing my sons hair during bath time after a day at school and noticed a gash that had been obviously cleaned on the back of his head (he has blonde hair so it had to have been cleaned otherwise the hair around it would have been red from blood). The gash was open. I immediately rush to the ER not fully understanding what was going on. After staying at the ER until 5:30 the next morning it was determined that he had hit his head during the hours in which he was at school and it had been cleaned. The doctor examining his wound also stated that it would have been best to have had it sutured at the time of the accident, but due to the time elapsed since it occurred we had to leave it open to try to heal. This head trauma was NEVER reported to me by the school. I call the next day and express my concerns and was immediately dismissed then after persisting it was taken seriously. The following day I was contacted by the school and informed that they found the incident on the cameras. My child was riding a bicycle outside and fell into the metal fencing and gashed his head open. It was not noticed by the employees until after playtime due to them not paying attention (per Tiffanie, the director, both employees were written up due to their inattentiveness). After an employee finally noticed his head bleeding profusely (Ill attach a picture of the clothing they sent home - which I didnt think to look at until after I identified the gash because I assumed it was pee clothes since we were actively potty training - which was covered in blood on the back) they cleaned him and sent him on his way with never reporting it to the director or myself. It was also determined that he was laid down for a nap following the incident in compliance with their usual daily schedule. The thought of all of the severe outcomes that could have became of letting him sleep after a head injury makes me physically sick. Nonetheless after multiple correspondences with Tiffanie it was determined to try to compensate for the situation as a whole they would take care of the medical expenses resulting from this. The bill after my insurance was only $200. (Less than one weeks tuition) That was all in November - it is now April and I just received a final notice in the mail indicating the bill was never resolved. I am so displeased with the handling of this situation from start to finish. I feel I was beyond patient and understanding considering the severity of the incident but now I am beyond frustrated. Not only am I dealing with this to begin with, but now after months of not hearing anything from them I tried to call today and was told that Tiffanie could not speak to me regarding the situation - which is interesting considering she is who was handling this directly from the beginning. I want to reiterate that other than this my son had a wonderful time and experience here but this has been so traumatizing and stressful considering it deals directly with the safety of my child that I find it hard to overlook, despite the remaining positive experiences.

We called in before doing a tour to ask if space was available we spoke with (Ashley the owner) for my three year old and we were told that space was available and for us to go online and schedule a tour to visit the school. We did exactly that on 11/15/23 and upon doing the tour it was never mentioned that their was no longer any availability in the three year old class. Ashley the owner gave me the tour and told me at the end of the tour that she no longer had any room for my three year old child. When Ashley mentioned that their was no space available I knew she was not being honest based off how she said it and her face expressions, but I didn't put up a fuss about it and gathered my child and left the premises. I am unsure once meeting me in person why this decision was made. My son was eager to go see the class, he pulled on the entrance door excitedly trying to get in, but it was locked so Ashley says to him "can you wait and allow her to open the door". I felt it was rude but I didn't say anything and allowed her to still give us the tour. My friend Alicia was also interested in enrolling her three year old in this school and spoke with Tiffanie on the same day 11/15/23 and mentioned she has a three year old aswell was told that space was available and to schedule a tour online to come visit the school to enroll her child. I was floored when she called to tell me she was told that their was an opening and I was told differently. Tiffanie did hear the owner Ashley tell me that no space was available because she was in the same room making coffee as we exited and told us to have a great day. Although it may not be racism, the denial was based on something discriminatory. I wonder what criteria is used once the child is introduced to determine if they will accept or deny the child entrance into the program. However my time was wasted and I am extremely disappointed.

Business Response on Google Dec 9th, 2023
Hi Ms. Bryant, we appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to address your concerns. Firstly, the owner Ashley was not the individual that gave you a tour nor the individual you spoke with on the phone. Secondly, the availability within our classrooms is subject to change at any moment and the majority of our classrooms have a waitlist. We routinely request for children to attend tours with parents as it gives us an opportunity to gauge whether our academy is a good fit for the student and vice versa. As educators we are aware of the fact that every child is unique and certain children require individualized care that we are not equipped to provide nor do we claim to. Additionally, our goal is to provide quality care to every child and enrolling children with the knowledge that we may not be doing a service to them goes against our morals and values. We apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this may have caused you and wish you all the best.
