Have you ever looked forward to a doctor visit? If you visit Dr Millman and Team at Suwanee Spine and Healing Center off Buford Hwy, you certainly will. Personally, I had a severe accident that left me bed ridden for two months. After surgery, physical therapy and many doctor visits, my body told me I was out of alignment. Suwanee has many choices. I asked friends for recommendations. I checked them all out but could not pull the trigger. I wanted a holistic approach not traditional snap crackle pop! The moment I stepped apprehensively into Dr Millmans office, the experience was not only different but much, much better. I feel at home there. My initial visit was exactly what I had hoped and I could not stop talking about how Dr Millman got my head on straight! They have healing hands that help not just my injury but my mind, body and soul.

I cannot recommend all of the people at Suwanee Spine enough! I was recommended to give these guys a try as all my other previous chiropractic treatments never kept the pain away. I was pretty skeptical at first since all I had ever known about chiros was "pop this and crack that". Suwanee Spines' new approach to chiropractic practices took me a minute to get my mind wrap around it, but I am glad I did. I started coming to Dr. Millman January 2021 with a lot of back problems (bulging and herniated discs). I used to have "flare ups" where I could barely walk and looked like I was twisted into a pretzel. These flare ups would last in full force about 1 week with a lot of residual pain for about a month until the next flare up would start up. At my initial consultation, I found out I was carrying a lot more of my body weight to one side and one leg was way "shorter" than the other. Previous chiropractors had suggested I get inserts for my shoes. Within my first few weeks, you could visibly see my posture was much more upright and even WITHOUT any inserts or aids. While I've had 1 flare up since December 2020, it only last about 1.5 days! Aside from this one occurrence, I have been living virtually pain free for over 7 months. Dr. Millman and her staff are very passionate with correcting the whole body and not just giving temporary relief as I have found with some previous chiropractic work. My one piece of advice that I would give to anyone looking at Suwanee Spine is to stick it out to see the results. It will take a minute to get your mind wrapped around a new way of healing, but the results can be incredible. It just takes a little time.

Dr. Ryan was able to work out a muscle issue I have had for some time in my shoulder/arm. It has been truly amazing to feel the relief I have been looking for. I highly recommend her and Suwanee Spine and Healing for care!!

Well I will share a bit of my story, hopefully itll help someone! I am a mother of 4, wife and recent graduate in my 30s. I was juggling many things not knowing the toll it was taking on my body throughout the years. I thought it was normal to have a headache a couple times a week. A few months ago, after a serious workout I found myself not being able to get out of the bed without vomiting (TMI) from the excruciating headache and neck pain. Even the slightest of movement made me nauseated! My sister (a current patient) took me to Dr. Millman. I couldnt even get through the evaluation without a bucket in hand! At this time I couldnt hold anything down for two days and was shaking from my nervous system going haywire. I was so embarrassed but needed the help. After the first adjustment I felt about 50% better. The next morning was much better but still not 100%. I knew I needed to get on a treatment plan! However, now I have more energy and feel better than I have ever felt! Dr. Millman and her staff are the best when it comes to customer service and care!

You know me as Alexis behind the desk, but let me tell you how I wound up at Suwannee Spine and Healing Center. I am here because my mom was brave enough to share her story with me. So I thought I would share mine with you: As a professional dancer, your first goal is to take care of your body. Then you ask it to do unimaginable things in a moments notice in auditions, classes, workshops, and shows. I have asked a lot of my body for a long time and during rehearsals for the biggest job I had to date, I fell. Falling for some people may not be a big issue, but when you fall with an overworked body there are going to be major issues. I strained muscles near my L4 causing me to be barely mobile for weeks. As time went on, I managed to relax the muscle through physiotherapy, but the issue still lingered. For six months I kept my body in a constant "warmed-up" state. This state allowed me to dance on board the Queen Mary 2 and travel parts of the world I never thought I would see. As I returned from the job, I allowed my body to finally relax and as a result my injury came back. I was timid to seek chiropractic care when I was in New York, but I was recommended by my friend and I trusted her judgement. So I saw that chiropractor. It made a huge difference, but I had to discontinue care and move back to Georgia in March of 2020. We all know why. As April and May went by, the pain came back. My mom had recommended that I go see her chiropractor. She mentioned that Dr. Millman's technique would be different from what I had been exposed to in New York. I was reluctant but I was in so much agony I was ready for whatever was necessary to get me back to normal. When I met Dr. Millman, I was so encouraged that my pain was going to be relieved, but I did not expect the results that I had. After my first adjustment I could feel the tight muscles in my back, shoulders and arms release. I was twisted like a dishrag and I could feel the gentle subtle unwinding that came in the hours after my adjustment. My muscles were tender and sore, but I could tell that my body was regrouping and realigning. The next day was great and I could not wait till the next time I saw Dr. M. After my second adjustment, I noticed that I could breathe fully and deeply without the feeling of my rib cage tightening over my lungs. It makes sense right, put the spine in place and everything else will follow suit. I was so encouraged and I was feeling great. About two weeks into my care, I went on a run the day after my adjustment. Well, it was a walk that turned into a run. My brain was telling my body to run and I could not believe how good I felt after. I could breathe fully after I was finished and I did not have lingering aches in my back. I do not believe in coincidences or happenstance. I do believe that God predestined us for our future and prepares us in miraculous ways. Had I not seen a chiropractor in New York, I would not have been ready to see a chiropractor at home. Had I not come home during March 2020, I would not have had the wonderful opportunity to meet Dr. Millman and now I work for her! God allowed me to experience healing before I stepped into a role to help others. I have a very unique and beautiful job. I get to see people's everyday healing journey and I am often brought to tears seeing how their lives change from receiving care. Not only do I get to see their healing journey, but now I get to be a part of it! I get to use my knowledge and expertise to work with patients to improve their motion and flexibility in Functional Movement sessions. If it weren't for my background, and what brought me to this point, I would have never had the Freedom that I have now found, in ways I could not have imagined.
