I have used Karlyn's services twice. She won both cases for me. I trust her, recommend her, and would use her again if I needed to. My first opinion of her after a phone consultation was, I don't want to face her in a courtroom, she scares me, so I hired her to represent me instead. I chose well.

Ms. Skall was a walking nightmare for my family. We were told not to take the stand, not to call witnesses. Ms. Skall was a public defender for us and with her leadership, we got life w/o parole. No jury and no justice, that is Ms. Skall!

The fact of the matter is they don't offer a negative star.. I can only say my truth, I can only warn anyone that may come to the misfortune of this sorry excuse for an attorney in their lives! I personally watched the woman in court, at the time of the accused's court appearance (mind you this man was possibly 60+, had an obvious impairment and could barely understand a word this woman said). When the judge called for a recess the man approached Ms. Skall, very quietly and extremely reserved, she snapped around at his light touch to her shoulder and said "Excuse me, DO NOT touch me first of all, 2nd DO NOT interrupt me and finally since you are so impatient..how about you'll be the LAST person I speak to! So sit down if you'd wish, either way, you need to step back you are invading this client's right to privacy and it's extremely rude and neither of us appreciate it!" As the other client looked from the old man to the floor, mouth down turned, he was clearly not feeling the same as Skall. Once she made her way, 30 client later, to the old man, they spoke quietly, the entire time Skall had a finger out pointing at the gentleman being nastier as the conversation progressed. Within less than 5 minutes, she jumps up, proclaimed loudly, "so I may tell the judge you do not wish to have an attorney to represent you?" The old man, "Ma'am, I never said that..I..". Skall, "so what I understand is you are representing yourself?" As the gentleman man began to speak Skall turns her back and begins to walk away and says, facing the pulpit, not a pause, a look back, obviously on her devious mission to crush this tiny old man, penny less, his freedom was entrusted by the state to this racist, angry and flat out nasty, careless attorney. The man began to weep as she approached the judge and whisper with her hand over the mic and pointing at the frightened man.Not sure how everything turned out for that beautiful man. I do however know how mine went, I am still dealing with the horror this woman has caused myself and my family! I am truly unsure how it is possible for a narcissist with a short temper and vendetta against the very people, has been given the opportunity and extreme privilege of defending their freedom! Those who are court appointed attorneys need a certain kind of heart, an ability to see through a criminal's bologna and at the same time can assure that person has someone on their side and honestly fight for that person! Skall has all the opposite!I was also a unsuspecting victim of Skall and the toilet the justice system has become. I don't blame her for the corrupt DA or the judge that came in hungover from his long night with his secretary or an addict he takes advantage of because she knows that he can mess her life up because he can tell the judge over her custody case that she is on dope, he could cause her to go to jail on the drugs that were found on her, so she just goes along with his disgusting night time games. Skall has nothing to do with that but she is responsible for not only not entering my not guilty plea and entering a guilty plea against my wishes but the domino effect caused from her blatant disregard for a human who's life is worse than any one most people don't come across!Moral of this review, the public service of this announcement..DO NOT EMPLOY KARLYN SKALL she is 100% THE WORST ATTORNEY IN METRO ATLANTA!! BTW..the only reason I put a single star was because it is required in order to post a review and I'll be (Lord forgive me) Gosh Darned if I don't get this posted EVERYWHERE!!
