Papi's Cuban & Caribbean Grill

Papis used to be our favorite restaurant- for years. But unfortunately a lot has changed. Ambiance is the only consistent thing there now- actually wonderful. And the waitresses are also an asset to the restaurant. But the Churrasco steak was a horrible cut of meat. It used to be amazing. But the last 2 times we ordered it, it was barely edible- or rather chewable. And they changed their dough on the empanadas. Very disappointing. Also, dont be surprised by the sarcastic attitude of the young hostess. We would have ignored that one, if our $25 steaks had been good.

First time to eat here. I was traveling thru, and it was recommended by the clerk at my hotel. Papi's did not disappoint. The cuban was great.

The food is excellent. The only reason for the no all five stars are, the assembly and portion size. The prices have raised and the portion for dinner is served in a small lunch plate. If you are doing takeout, they put cold and hot food in the same container.

Sandwiches is delicious,they have just 2 server when I visited. I had to wait for a while before I got served.

Holy moly!!! They were rated as the top Cuban restaurant in Atlanta and that is no joke!!! This place had the best food that I have had in a long time. I got their slow roasted pork bowl that comes with pork, black beans and yellow rice with salad and also in the bowl had plantains, and my friend got their lechon asado plate. I also had a regular mojito. That first bite had me swooning. The first sip of that mojito had me grinning. I think someone sold their soul to the devil to be able to make food that is sinfully delicious. I will be dreaming about this food until I can get back to enjoy it again. Parking: May get busy and less parking on weekend nights. Not sure. Kid-friendliness: Very family vibes in this restaurant.
