        STAY AWAY!!!! We got set up for home care for my grandpa and the wrong office took us on. The initial appointment was a 15 minute joke. Didnt even look at his wounds. No vitals. And left. We had to make several calls, with management included to get this sorted. After a few appointments they let us know that his home isnt in their area!! That we should be with another Amedysis branch!!! So ALLL The initial appts had to be redone. Its been DAYYSS and he still hasnt had a nurse visit as theyve not sent one from the other branch?? ANRGY!! Hes past due on blood work, has a slew of new symptoms, and is currently headed back to the hospital. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Amedysis- feel free to fix this mess and Id be more than happy to adjust this review.

        PT came three times and discharged my son for no progress, and he did very little. OT was a total waste of time. We lost a month of progress because of their inability to provide adequate service. He is now doing great at an outpatient rehab facility.

        Amedisys came out to take care of my dad after Lumbar decompression surgery on his back. He had physical therapy, occupational therapy and nurse coming to see him. We have been blessed!! Each one of them is so sweet and friendly and genuinely concerned about my dad. Thank you to Denise, Sharon, Travis and Lechandra and Gloria for taking care of my daddy.

        A lot of the home care staff is kind and knowledgeable. Office staff incompetent & uncaring. Rude for no reason & clearly very poorly managed. How are you going to be in HOME CARE and be missing the care part?
