        My mom came into town and wanted to eat at McAlister's. She's a regular at the McAlister's back home and she wanted to get herself a BLT+A. What she ended up being served was a frankly sad portion with some incorrect ingredients. When she went to talk to the manager, Meghan, said that it was a normal portion. If we're paying an $11 premium for a sandwich, one would expect to get a sizable portion. Very disappointing.

        Great food, and very fast, friendly service. Whether you are there for a leisurely lunch with friends/family or just dropping in for a quick bite before a meeting that day, like I did, it's a wonderful place to eat. Plus, they offer the option of dining inside or outside, as well as take-out. Overall, a quaint, intimate dining experience usually reserved for high-end restaurants is yours to experience. Visit McCallisters for lunch one day soon...you'll thank me for it.
