Avis Car Rental

She yelled at 81 year old mother calling her a liar. She was very unprofessional. when we arrived, she said I don't know if I have any cars or your reservations in the system because I haven't turn my computer on. She was just sitting there doing nothing. Avoid at all costs.

Avis St Simons does not even deserve a 1 star. I went in to Avis a while back it was close to my house. Convenient. So I get there when they open and no ones there so I wait 35 minutes until Amy comes in already with an attitude because Im standing there. So I got the car everything was fine until check out. Amy has told me that they charge for miles which I was unaware my paperwork said one thing Amys another. So I had asked how much would I be charged and she got an attitude. Mind you there is no one else in there.Amy told me she was to busy and then I asked for receipt she again said she was busy and that she would get it to me when she can. Now I dont know about you but I would like a receipt and to know how much I was getting charged.So we went back and forth for a bit. SoI wouldnt leave and sat in lobby for an hr til she finally gave me my receipt. So today I came in again not by choice everyone else was sold out and my husband had called and asked if there were any cars left Amy said she had one car left. So I went in and as soon as Amy seen me she rolled her eyes got up and said last time we had a payment problem and I dont want to rent to you. Actually we did not have a payment problem I had paid it was the fact that she doesnt like or know how to do her job. Shes to old to have such an attitude and shes supposed to be manager. I dont recommend anyone going there until she is replaced. I already contacted corporate .

My son and I went to retrieve hey rental this morning and we're shocked by the behavior of your agent at the airport in St Simons Island, GA. I told her that I had eye surgery 10 days ago and did not feel comfortable driving. I said that my son could act as a surrogate driver. But when I asked to fill out the medical form, she said it didn't exist.. So I called the customer care toll free number for Avis and they told me there was a medical form that I could complete. But she screamed at me and accused me of being a liar. I am 81 years old and in declining health. I really did have eye surgery 10 days ago. and it is true that I don't feel comfortable driving,. My son has been driving me to church, to eat, to my medical appointments, and to the grocery store. It was not right for her to call my son a liar and to accuse me of conspiring with him. I have never told a lie in all my years. It was humiliating to be yelled at in front of strangers all because he asked for the form for me to complete about my temporary medical disability. I would like some kind of an apology and for this agent to undergo some kind of re-training so nobody else has to be treated so harshly. I'm supposed to avoid stress, but this experience sure raised my blood pressure.
