I started with Charles Minter Karate in January 1987. When I expressed an interest in starting my own martial arts school, Master Minter took me under his wing and helped me to live out one of my dreams. Because of Master, I have grown up feeling confident, able to face life's challenges, and I've spent my life doing something I love to do. Whether you spend your life doing martial arts or just a short time, you will gain a necessary life skill. Charles Minter Karate is THE place to go in Gwinnett County.

My kids (boy and girl) enjoy taking classes here. I like the approach and keeping kids accountable. Highly recommend. My kids also really enjoy the parents night outs and beg for the camps they offer.

I do not recommend going to this place, he goes outside of other schools to try and steal other students from other martial arts schools. I have also interacted with him personally when I worked at chick fil a. He is not a good person and is in it for the money. He even will go to the extent of sending his students outside to advertise for his school. If it was worth while and not for the money, there would be no need to embarrass students in that fashion. I have been practicing material arts for 10 years now. I am embarrassed if I ever see him around town. He gives material arts instructors a bad name. He is not honorable in the slightest.
