Country Club of Gwinnett

My son and I just played this past Tuesday 4/2/24 and I was shocked at the condition of everything at this course. The course was in terrible condition. The rotes going of the cart path were bone garing and it was everywhere. The fairways were like cement no grass to speak of. The roughed had inches of cut grass that was yellowing. There was one poor kid on the course working, where is your help. The clubhouse was vacate , no chips, no smell of food at all. Not even the smell of coffee. The pro shop had nothing by to look at or sell. Not even hats. We had copies single page score sheets cut in the size of score cards whoa! The manager came walking in at 11:00 am. The cart we had hardly could make it up the back nine cart paths. My son helped to push it up 16 cart path. I played this golf course cliff and on for 20 years and it was pitiful it has turned into. I am deeply depressed at the conditions. Myself son and my father played hear and had great times. This course is the most depressing place you should close and turn into to housing. This is the only way this land could used for now. What a terrible management group and what a loss!

Tried to cancel a membership I dont hardly use. Instructed to email and got no response. After 36 hours, I called back and was instructed to call back in 4 days.

Course is in the best shape I've seen it in. Great pace of play and greens were pristine.

Such a shame this golf course is. The layout is beautiful; you can tell this course used to be pristine and a top course in the area. Unfortunately, a 5 hour round, countless dead golf carts, rude cart girl worker who yelled at us for being slow even though we were behind at least two foursomes can really ruin a golf course. A little laughable how poorly this place is run. Hopefully management can step it up because this course has potential. Oh and give that girl a golf for dummies book.

Gossly disappointed! Greens are spotted, tee boxes are in disrepair, fairways are destroyed at the edges, leaves not blown, crippling slow pace, no attendants in the restaurant, carts died twice, garbage corral running over and disgusting, pro shop and cart corral in disrepair I wont play again!
