Ive know Allison personally for over six years. A very sweet person. When my wife and I started a company in Oct 2023, I knew from my personal interactions with her that Allison was who I would hire to do our business taxes. Its March 2024 and shes been so invaluable already. She helped ensure we got started properly with federal and state taxes. Shes answered multiple emails when a random question pops up. Honestly, Id be lost without her assistance. I wholeheartedly recommend Hooks CPA for your personal and business accounting needs. Allison and her team are personable, contentious, highly ethical, professional, and trustworthy. You wont regret entrusting your tax and accounting needs to them.

We have been going to Allison for years always was very reasonable but was shocked when I received her letter this year she had gone up on her cost 75 percent my cost last year was $185. thiis year $500. and my. sons which is just a W2 nothing else went from $100. to $450.. I took the time to call and never really got a good reason why the extreme price hike. In return I informed her we would not be coming back. She said new customers were calling and had no problem with the new cost? We went to H & R Block in Douglasville and they did our taxes for $20.00 more then what we psid Allison last year. It is sad that loyalty means nothing to some people. I wish her all the best. But, I will be returning to H&R Block again next year.

Wow, so many good reviews and I really need help! I called, and a gentle voice greeted me (it's not the bigh rush tax period). I stated my name and asked for an individual tax return consulence. With no further talking, the answer came quick (the voice resolute and not gentle anymore): "We do not accept new clients at the moment!". What in irony! I thought my european accent to be charming. Anyway, what business shuts down potential clients in such a way?

If you work in the entrainment industry, please know you can use this CPA firm. They are always thorough, honest, and work with excellence, plus my returns always come back in a timely manner direct deposit. Allison Hooks was the CPA for my parents for years and years and when they passed, I continued to use her when I graduated college, until I moved away and had to work with a different CPA year after year; as an independent contractor, it was straining. When moving back to ATL, I used Hooks CPA again and am SO grateful. Mary or Allison are always prompt in retuning my calls or meeting with me in person with my questions. Again, they are always thorough, honest, and work with integrity and excellence, plus my returns always come back in a timely manner via direct deposit.
