Ive never had any contractor services with DK. However, the most random thing just happened with a man I met wearing his DK work shirt and driving the companys white pick up truck. I was in Smyrna with a flat tire at a gas station on Concord Road. Me and my two small kids. Im not good with car stuff, so I asked a man getting gas if I could pay him to put air on my tire (I know, I should know how to do this kinds of stuff on my own by now - but the tire was so low, I was like what happened?). He graciously said yes, told me I had a nail in my tire, and said follow him to the tire shop up the road. He asked the gentleman there to plug my tire, made sure the job was done right, and before I could give him some cash (at least enough for a breakfast or lunch somewhere) - he said pay it forward. I said thank you and asked him what was is his name. He said Peter, wished me well and seemed to disappear like an angel. I went to pay the tire guy and the young man said he already paid for it. I couldnt believe it. But then again, I can. Because there are still amazing people on Gods green earth. And Peter (he was a tall white man who reminded me of my own very tall father who is a carpenter as well) is one of them. Peter will always be in my prayers! And if I ever need contractor services in my home, I will call DK because of him.
