The incident you have posted about did not happen as you have described., but first things first. Posted in our store are signs that state...IF YOU ARE ON YOUR PHONE YOU WILL NOT BE HELPED or REFRAIN FROM USING YOUR CELLPHONE AT THE COUNTER. The entire incident has been reviewed on the instore video monitors. Having pointed that out, now to your problem. You walked in the store and sat your game system that was in a white plastic bag on the front counter and walked away to your left, towards the gun counter. The precarious or unstable position with which you placed the game system on the counter is the KEY to your dilemma. Its fell to the floor due to the careless nature of its placement...on the edge of the aforementioned counter. At this point, NO ONE BUT YOU HAS TOUCHED THE WHITE PLASTIC PAPER BAG CONTAINING THE GAME SYSTEM. This entire scene can be viewed by you on the video monitor.. I must add, that this entire time in our store, you have been on a phone call. Even when you bent down to pick up the white plastic bag, the phone has been pressed up to your face. At this point, one of our floor managers looked at your game system and made the determination that it was too old and we would not be interested in doing business with you. As far as anyone being SHORTED in a business transaction at any of our stores, it's never happened in my 47 years of being a pawnbroker. No one has ever brought that up and as far as doing a transaction with you, how do you come to that conclusion, taking into account that we've never done business??? Now onto the RACIST aspect of things. Our customer base is 70% AFRICAN AMERICAN and Welsh Pawn Shop, Inc has been serving that community for 113 years, over a century!!! And finally to your statement that we are hill Billy's. I am at a loss for words, as everyone at my stores are "low country" folks.
