This was my first time getting my natural hair done by someone other than myself, but my Starter locs came out really well. My parts were neat, the ends of my hair arent unraveling, my appointment was on time, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Dont let some of these reviews stray you away these are good people with great services

Shawn is the owner of nappy hut, when I first came to her my hair was damaged, now my hair is healthy, thick & long. Shawntel is a excellent hairstylist, thanks shawn for taking care of my hair

I heard great things about this place so I booked a consult, it was for 9:30 am. I arrived at 9:30 and my stylist was not there. I waited until 9:55 and then left I wouldnt have made cared until I checked my email and got an email from Nappy Hutt saying I was a no show to my appointment and that I will not tolerate! My time is valuable, just as yours is, you wasted mine and I was willing to let it be, but I was NOT a no show and that is not how business is conducted. One thing about me, I show up ON TIME every time to all my appointments. But I wish you all the best of luck.

The people here were really nice and there was a warm welcome when I came in. The lady who did my hair took roughly 4 hours just to re-twist and style my hair without the wash included. (With other stylist it takes about two hours)
With the wash included I was there for over 5 1/2 hours. I honestly did not mind the time it took as long as they were done appropriately but what upset me was the ends of my hair not being twisted all the way down. *See pictures below*. It literally looks like I have lobster claws at every end of my two strands.
I would have mentioned it to the stylist once I noticed but I was already running late to another appointment due to the time it took for her to do my hair. Ive been to many different stylist and was shocked that she thought this was acceptable.
