Hertz Car Rental - Savannah - Park of Commerce Drive

In Google and website it says that the location is open. THIS LOCATION IS CLOSED!!! Made us waste money, gas, and time! Ugh!!! You should update your business information, Hertz!

Relating experience of my friend. His 19 year old son had a minor car wreck and insurance paid for rental car from Hertz during the repair. When my friend returned the car to this location, Hertz charged him a $300. charge for dirty floor mats and offered no other remedy. I suggested he take the car and get it detailed but he had already turned it in. He said the workers at this Hertz location were no help on this issue and referred him to the Assistant Manager on Victory Drive. My friend went there and the Assistant Manager was gone for 2-3 hours. They told him to come back, but he lives outside of town and this is not workable. The also referred him to the district manager. The district manager does not answer their phone and has no message receive set up on the phone number. My friend said the company is, "Not customer friendly." I think this is a pretty clear example of fees gouging and exploiting customer. Needless to say I do not recommend this company or any of the area locations. Maybe it should be taken up with corporate, but some people are more talented to do so than others. I will copy this review over to their corporate office and maybe this $300. gouge and unfriendly service will cost them $3,000. in business. I would call this an irrecoverable FAIL from Hertz car rental. Nothing like when the local corporate franchise is just sitting there waiting to price-gouge you. They should he ashamed and re-evaluate how they run their company, but thank God that Google Reviews can put real market influence on them to clean up their act.
