        There are so many good things to say about Auspicious, but one of the most impactful and admirable things about this bakery is the owners. You always see them in the shop, serving the customers with smiles and working alongside their employees. It says so much about their care for the community. So many companies can learn from them and their personability. Thank you for all you do

        I went to Auspicious Bakery on March 29, 2024. It was my first time going and our daughter came with me. The line was out the door but moved quickly. It smelled good inside so I was excited. I knew I wanted some bread but there was not much of a variety. I asked for a healthy wheat or grain bread and there was only one. Our daughter and I decided on bagels and a loaf of whole wheat bread. Everyone was very nice. My family and I first tried the sesame and plain bagels. They were hard, not fresh, but tasted ok toasted with cheese and peanut butter. A few days later we tried the whole wheat bread. The crust was hard, again not fresh, but tasted ok with tuna on it. My family and I were disappointed. I had heard good things about the bakery and read good reviews. I will not be returning. Glad the bakery is doing well.

      Sabrina thanks for taking the time to come by the bake house. It seemed like you all enjoyed the staff and the atmosphere of the bakery. I’m sorry to learn through this 2 star review that you were unhappy with your purchases. Typically a direct email or phone call regarding product issues result in refunds and constructive progress toward ensuring the next guest has a better experience. I would like to assure you that everything sold on our counter is indeed ‘fresh’ and baked for that day of service. Had you come through at opening you would have seen our bread baker boiling the bagels. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect that. However we pride ourselves on our reputation for quality and freshness. It sounds as though you may have come in toward the afternoon if the options had become limited by the time you were making your selections. Of course “a few days” later that bread would no longer be ‘fresh’. Proper handling and storage of our naturally Leavened products definitely helps prolong their shelf life. Next time you have an issue with a food business try reaching out directly to them before you drop their Google rating with an inaccurate review.
