image Normally I dont have the time to rate my living experience for different apartment complexes and communities that Ive live in as a Service Member, but this Apartment Complex has the WORST reputation thus far. Customer service, maintenance, professionalism, hospitality, cleanliness, communication, and accountability. If youre thinking about moving to this complex, set your expectations to ZERO! From the moment I moved into the apartment I was skeptical, with low income housing prices I wasnt expecting a lot, but at the least cleanliness and a satisfactory maintenance team. I conducted my move-in inspection by myself and when I returned the inspection sheet with problems listed on the front and back the Office manager stated at least its better than the barracks, but I will send a cleaning crew and maintenance team out to clean as requested. After they received my payment to move in, a cleaning crew nor the maintenance team was ever hired. It wasnt until I personally cleaned and hired Thompson & Thompson to fix the water handles and plumbing in my bathroom after being here a month that I was finally able to utilize my apartment to its full potential. After inquiring about preventive measures and maintenance for several issues over the course of three-six months the office managers solution to EVERY problem was releasing me from my lease early rather than upholding the duties of a landlord and fulfilling the terms of the lease agreement. This past August, due to their employees negligence, they lost my rent payment that was securely provided to the office. Although it was due to their employees lack of attention to detail, they filed eviction. Notified me by taping the magistrate letter on my door (no envelope). Court date was set for this past Wednesday but because I made them aware that I had knowledge of their illegal practices regarding the eviction process they dismissed the case without prejudice. As of today they are refusing to accept my payment for October although Ive paid each and every months balance IAW my lease agreement. In their attempt to refile for eviction they have blocked me from contacting them (via phone and email). Since August they are continuously entering my home unannounced/notified. Understand if you are searching for a reasonable priced apartment/townhome, but its not worth the hassle. The owners of this property are money driven their focus is not to develop a community of comfort, they just want to be paid. They arent fixing actual problems (plumbing, old pipes, cracked ceilings and walls, and MOLD (picture below), they continue to cover it up and rent it out to the next family looking to save money. Below are some pictures of the apartment. Please reconsider for the good of your familys peace. Feel free to reach out to me if you have questions! Also, if you are looking to buy a home in the state of GA use Peoples First Real Estate, best in town!
