MAA Wilmington Island

I moved into MAA about 6 weeks ago and Im on the fence. Pros -beautiful landscape -nice community and area -nice looking apartments and amenities -very animal friendly -easy, quick move in with friendly staff (Kelly is fantastic) Cons -mold -there is a leak in my bathroom that maintenance has already addressed but has not fixed -there was mold and water damage on windows when I moved in (maintained has fixed thru bleaching and painting) - my apartment humidity stays very high and Im worried there might be a large mold problem. The leak from my apartment was prevalent and as a result was pouring into my downstairs neighbors apartment. -I was unable to get into my mailbox for the first month. We had a few in person check ins to accomplish the task. I would have appreciated if staff had taken more innovative with communication but I do understand this is a busy time of year. The mailbox can now open. I am working with maintenance now on mold/leaks and will update this based on results 4/9/24

Please looks very clean and well cared for. Our guide was also very friendly and provided us with all the information needed

MAA wilmington island is very pretty, clean and meticulously maintained. The amenities range from a pool, 24/7 fitness center and an office. I look forward to potentially making this my future home!
