I love this particular Winn -Dixie! Its in its second life as it was a Harveys years ago, but you would never know that it is a rather old building. The store is always so clean and I personally love this. The merch is always displayed neatly; its clear that the employees tidy up the results of rummaging customers regularly! Their prices are decent and they really try hard to be a exceptional hometown store for the people of St. Marys. My only issue with this Winn-Dixie is the customer service. I have visited several times and not been greeted by anyone in the store, and I have been checked out by employees who didnt even say Thank You, which is not only rude but also annoying. This seems to be acceptable behavior because I have seen managers in the immediate vicinity when this happened. I would love to see more courtesy shown to the folks in this store, especially by the cashiers, who are really paid to demonstrate some degree of appreciation toward people who are spending their hard-earned money in the store. After all, we do have a choice.
