Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center

After a brutal motorcycle accident, my wife nd I were brought to the Floyd trauma center. I was discharged only hours later, while not fully concience and my wife, who was complaining of the pain in her ankle, was discharged with an undiagnosed, unchecked, untreated broken leg and ankle for which she had to have surgery after leaving the hospital. I have been calling the hospital for two weeks and I cannot get someone to even talk to me , let alone give an explanation or even a call back. If you value your life, you will not go there!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst hospital I've ever been too. Osha was breached and distributed personal information with consent or approval. My rights as patient were violated. Staff wasn't cooperating and wasn't attentive to my needs. The staff were a group of people that didn't put the least effort into aiding me. At one point I feared for my life . Overall terrible experience and worst hospital

If you have a loved one that you want legally euthanized you will find the services top notch.. If you actually care about them and want them treated with dignity and to the extent you or they themselves may want then i wouldn't recommend this dumpster fire of the medical profession.. there's too much to list on here but feel free to ask for details if you would like to hear the details and see some of the things we jave to back up what I say. I wish I had read all the reviews days ago and had my dad moved at the beginning because there is no doubt whatsoever that he would still be here if he had been given the fighting chance he asked for instead of the pity the Kilvorkian crew here had on a man they falsely assumed had to be miserable and pushed us repeatedly to give up on and override his wishes.. One nurse and only one ate her words and gave him excellent care and almost brought him back when she saw him fighting but it was for nothing bc the next shift that came on changed the meds that were working great and maxed out everything she had him weened off of and within minutes he spiraled at an insane rate and NVR came back and nothing was ever changed back to what was working. The Dr actually had the nerve to tell me and 2 other family members and another unrelated person that we didn't witness what we saw with our own eyes and that we weren't told things that every one of us heard said directly to is the very night before. If I could give a review with negative stats I would except the one real true professional who admitted her first instinct was wrong and went the extra mile to do what she knew was right.

I wouldn't go here if you want to deal with a nurse that actually has a terrible respect for people on her personal Facebook. Posting about people dying from the submarine and than laughing about it??? If you are a nurse, than you don't laugh about death at all. It's sick and they need to be fired immediately!!!
