Best car buying experience ever!!! A HUGE thank you to Blake and Tara. Both ladies made me feel welcome and comfortable. They were patient with me and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. Blake even called me a few days after I purchased the vehicle. I recommend anyone who is anxious about buying a vehicle to go right over to Shottenkirk Honda in Rome. I wasn't pressured and was assured that even if I didn't buy the vehicle, I was welcome. They even gave us popcorn:) I'm pleased with my vehicle and it's because of Blake and Tara. Thank you ladies!!!!

In October of 2023, I purchased a 2022 Certified Used Honda HRV-EX with approximately 29,726 miles. At just after 31K miles, the maintenance light B1 alerts in the vehicle, and I took it to Ed Voyles Honda Service Dept. According to Ed Voyles, the service record indicated the last oil change occurred at 29K miles; however, they weren't sure why it wasn't actually completed. Additionally, Shottenkirk didn't complete the recommended transmission fluid exchange, brake fluid flush, alignment, and induction service (all recommended at 30K) prior to selling the vehicle to me. So I purchased the vehicle to find out I had to pay another $900 for these services just 2k miles later. When I purchased my car at Shottenkirk, there was a guy named Robert who also introduced himself as Mr. Shottenkirk, only to find out later, he wasn't him at all. My Honda was also missing a cover over the gear shift lock, which Angela had promised to send to me by mail....of course, I never received it. It's important for Shottenkirk employees to conduct themselves with transparency and integrity at all times. I'll never shop there again, or bring my car there for service.
