So much to say about the disappointment in this company for the treatment of my loved one, who is my ex. Where do I start? From the beginning my instincts told me they wanted no part of his complex situation-paralyzed and two bed sores. First week, I was reported to APS for something said out of context; Im 99.9% sure who reported it because I made a comment I was living out of my car and I only made that comment in front of two employees. APS has not found anything at this time that was worth reporting neglect? Im not neglecting anyone but myself, my job, my own family. Ive overheard comments that were implying negative attitudes about caring for him. Too many trips to the ER, and then not taking him back. He came home from subacute facility with a bad cath on a Wednesday, were supposed to come out the next day but didnt get there until Saturday (didnt change the cath) and now hes in the hospital for a UTI. Now they wont take him back AGAIN. Oh they talk a good talk, but they are short staffed and just dont want to deal with anyone who really needs care. So dont listen to the recording on hold about how they want to do everything for the patient to remain home, cause its bull. They also dont have anyone to come out and bathe their patients. And last, they suggested Hospice, which he doesnt even meet the requirements. Hopefully he will get his needs met in a LTACH until he can come back home, and then find an agency that will want to help him.
