My first experience, I wouldve given this establishment 5 stars. In June I went for a shoulder length cut and it turned out beautifully. So I will give credit where credit is due. The same lady, a young women with long brunette hair, not only ruined my hair this time, but she also took an electric razor to the back of my neck repeatedly and left a painful mark. When I sat in her chair I used my hands to show her the length I wanted, as well as said I want it just overtop of my shoulders, not resting on my shoulders but skimming them. Please, tell me how a hairstylist takes a shoulder length cut and turns that into a chin length bob. I was not facing the mirror, otherwise I would have for sure said something, but when I felt her take that razor to my neck I knew it was too far gone. I couldnt get out of that chair fast enough. I could feel the tears coming when she turned me to the mirror. I held my composure and walked out and sent my fianc in to get his cut and to pay, which at the time, I hadnt realized that I was cut across the entire base of my neck, just that an extra 4ish inches was chopped off that I hadnt wanted. It wasnt until I was home and standing in the shower that I felt the burning where she cut me. Thankfully, hair grows back, its upsetting that I just spent $200 less than 2 months ago to have my hair colored copper and she chopped most of it off and I hate the look of the cut. But, had her mistake been recognized and addressed with respect and understanding, I cant say that I wouldnt have gone back to give her another shot. Instead, we finally get a call back, and she tells my fianc that we can find a new place to go, to please not come back. That is certainly not good customer service, nor how you keep people coming around. Especially considering that you are one of the owners and thats how you choose to address a customers concerns and their negative experience. Maybe next time try, I am so sorry that it didnt turn out how you wouldve liked maybe there was a lack of understanding on one or both sides. I am most sorry that you were cut. Whatever I can do to remedy the situation, please make me aware. It is so easy to be kind and solve an issue. I suggest learning basic human decency and proper customer service.
