Dental Wellness Center of Richmond Hill

I enjoyed the people in back (dentist/hygienists) but outside of them this practice is HORRIBLE. I originally went to this location back in January 2023 upon receiving so many recommendations and confirming they were In-Network with my insurance. After that January appointment, which was a simple cleaning, I had so many issues with billing that I refused to go again. Until a gentleman called me in July 2023 to confirm my next appointment. When I advised him that I was going to cancel and the reasoning why, he BEGGED for me to give them a second chance. Stated that this facility had a new billing and scheduling department. So I thought whats the worst that can happen through a simple cleaning. My appointment was at the end of July 2023. I just received my bill and it is well above what it should be. So I called the billing department, they have to call me back because they cant seem to answer my questions. I call my insurance company only to find out that they are no longer In-Network with my insurance as of April 2023. That is why my bill is so high. The dental facility did not notify me of the change, and I guess they arent required to. But their website still advertises that they are still In-Network with my insurance company. So beware. Before you go to a single appointment here, double and triple check that they are still In-Network with your insurance through your insurance company. Do not trust them, or their website. I dont anticipate to receive a call back from their billing department. Ive already called again and had to leave a message. They are going to drag me along until I owe a late fee because they refuse to answer my questions. If anyone has suggestions on where to report them, I would love to hear from you.

I had not had my teeth cleaned in two years . Then my husband passed away. So it was almost another yr for me not coming . The young lady that cleaned my teeth also had my husband as a patient. She was so kind and front desk ladies were awesome . It was a rough day for me ,my husband and I always came together. Thank u being patient with me . I'll definitely be back in ,6 months . Updated*** while the doctor was great they ended up not being in my network & I got stuck with a $400 bill. Dr parr is FANTASTIC! I had a chipped tooth they got me in short notice accommodated to me and my kids. He was great to work with. Im thrilled to have him as a dentist. Everyone in the office was so kind & helpful!

I am incredibly disappointed with my recent experience at Dental Wellness. I had high hopes for receiving quality dental care, but unfortunately, my expectations were completely shattered. I scheduled an appointment at this clinic with the intention of addressing some dental issues and utilizing my dental insurance coverage. To my dismay, not only did I not receive any services during my visit, but I also discovered that they had charged my dental insurance for supposed treatments that never took place. The lack of professionalism and integrity displayed by DENTAL WELLNESS is truly disheartening. It's evident that their primary focus is on extracting money from patients' insurance policies rather than providing genuine dental care. This experience has left me frustrated and concerned about the state of the dental industry when such practices are allowed to continue unchecked. I strongly advise anyone seeking dental care to steer clear of DENTAL WELLNESS. Their actions are not only unethical but also indicative of a complete disregard for patients' well-being. It's a shame that a clinic that should prioritize health and wellness has chosen to prioritize profit over patient care. Everyone be aware of this Dental Office Is over billing, they accepts a third party1 Payment from the Dental Insurance Then without disclosing to the patient that is a fee charge just to provide you with a 3 minutes consultation that cost $70 dollars and x rays for $140 dollars. Be aware for overcharge.
