Hi, Im Matt, and Ive been in the music biz since 1999. I've spun and worked many celebrity concerts, events, and recording sessions. The Neighborhood Studio has me learning new things every time we meet. Bob Carter gives you a workout! Plus, he's a great guy and down to earth. I love that he holds you accountable and has a passion for you to succeed with an action plan. You learn secrets, tips, techniques, and the business that sets you apart from the rest. If youre a pro looking to add new skills to your toolbox or just starting out, I highly recommend taking his classes. Bonus, you get coached by Balrog from Street Fighter 4, 5, SF x Tekken, Shao Kahn, and Baraka from Mortal Kombat 9 (and many more). How cool is that!!! Learn to do what you love and make money doing it. "Time to get paid!" - Balrog

I've greatly enjoyed my time with the Neighborhood Studio! Bob is welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. The monthly Speakeasy is a great way to workout your VO skills and get to know other actors as well~

Working with Bob Carter to learn VO work has been a very eye-opening experience. His 1-on-1 course really helped me to understand where I need to improve and how to become a working VO talent. I would recommend Bob to anyone who may want to do voiceover work.

Bob and his wife September are true professionals, and excellent instructors. I feel Bob currently has me on the fast track to furthering my VoiceOver endeavors. You will not be disappointed in selecting The Neighborhood. They are informative and very knowledgeable. I recommend them for anyone thinking about getting into VoiceOver, or no matter what stage of the game you are in.

I am really enjoying my voiceover journey and look forward to keeping the momentum going at the Neighborhood Studio. I started off by doing the Beginner's Voiceover Workshop and was hooked ever since because Bob Carter didn't try to sell me on his services. He showed me and the others with his knowledge, skills, and work history. Yes, he is currently a working voiceover actor and his former students are currently booking jobs. He also didn't guarantee employment and stressed that development is a marathon and not a sprint meaning you have to put in the work to learn and to master your craft. This is not easy and you have to want to become better and you have to learn how to market your business. Bob also shows you the basic of how to market your business and how to craft your letter. You can really tell that Bob and his wife, September Day took the time to make a great introductory program because it really does include everything a new talent needs to get started. He even shows you what equipment to get and where to record at home on a budget and supplies the websites and links. Currently, I have completed two cycles of his three cycles of voiceover classes. Each cycle is three classes. I start my third cycle in June. Yes, I bought the whole enchilada because I could see my growth after the first cycle but more importantly, so could my wife and my peers. I still have a long ways to go but I am loving every minute of it because Bob makes it fun. Bob's resume is deep like the Grand Canyon because he took his craft seriously and it shows. So, visit his website and signup for a class or two and put in the work. I'll shut up now. No Bob has not paid me but he has coached and taught me well and this is just the beginning!!!! Good luck future VO talent.
