    I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. Not only did I encounter bedbugs and roaches in my room, but the staff's response was utterly unacceptable. When I tried to raise these concerns during the brief five-minute window they gave me for feedback, the housekeeper on duty actually laughed at my complaint. This lack of professionalism and disregard for guest comfort is unacceptable. To make matters worse, I was shocked to learn that an employee at this establishment was involved in a sexual assault incident with a woman. This information is public knowledge and can be easily verified with a quick Google search. Knowing that such serious issues exist within this hotel's environment raises serious questions about their commitment to guest safety and well-being. Overall, I will never consider staying here again and strongly advise others to steer clear of this establishment until they address these serious issues and demonstrate a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction and safety.

    When we arrived at this location we were tired from a 7 hour drive from Orlando. When I walked in to check in, I immediately looked around and started questioning staying there due to the smell of dirty, not clean. I ignored my senses and got my room keys. When we parked and started to grab luggage to go to the room we noticed a group of people standing outside doing drugs. They made us feel uncomfortable because they were watching our every move. When we went to grab the door we didn't even want to touch it. It was filthy. The glass has smudges on it that seemed to have been there for months. The hallway smelled like urine and bleach. The walls were black with dirt and who knows what else. The floor looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. There was what seemed to be urine in the elevator. The room from a glance looked organized, but you can smell again the marijuana. Mind you, I don't have an issue with marijuana, but what I do have an issue is staying in a hotel that smells like it especially with my children. We were concerned about the beds and laying on it because if the room smelled the way it did, how can we be comfortable laying on the bed. Needless to say, we went immediately to the front desk and cancelled. Which this was the only pleasant part of the entire situation. The guy at the front desk was very nice and said we have a 30 minutes no questions asked policy. He cancelled the reservation, sent an email, and even called me to confirm the cancellation. He is the only reason I even gave service a two because otherwise I would've gave it a one. I don't like to right negative reviews, but I did this one because it is February and I have been going back and forth with this location since December. Please be careful staying here especially with children. Whoever owns this location needs to put more effort it to maintaining the place. And it is their own fault because we literally stayed in the hotel right across from them, La Quinta. And the rooms and hotel were like night and day. All that divides these two locations is a wooded fence that the owner put when he bought the property to keep a border between them. That is how bad this location is. Rooms: The room smelled like marijuana and was dirty. We literally were scared to lay on the bed due to concerns with bed bugs and what other stuff might have happened in that room prior and the lack of attention to cleanliness by the staff. Safety: My family and I did not feel safe at all at this hotel. The people staying in the hotel were not the type of people you would want around children. A group of them were outside doing drugs. Noteworthy details: There was no attention to detail at this location. We did not want to touch the door because it was filthy. The hallway smelled like urine and bleach. The floors had puddles of what seemed to be urine. The walls and floors were filled with black dirt. The fact that the room was supposedly cleaned but smelled like straight marijuana does not give me any sense that any attention to cleanliness was given.

    By far the absolute worst hotel Ive ever stayed in. I was given one price on the phone, and paid double that upon arrival because I only had cash. When I gave the man at the counter my cash he said oh I need change handed me a few quarters and said I owe you like a dollar or something. When walking up to our room everything about this place was disgusting and uneasy. We put a chair against the door because it was so sketchy. After such a long drive I had ZERO energy to make it anywhere else. We stayed and slept for maybe 3 hours before we woke up to some wild sounding argument and decided to leave. Upon leaving we couldnt find a single person to check out with ANYWHERE. For TWENTY MINUTES the front desk was unmanned. We yelled, we called, we looked around, NOTHING. Do not waste your time or money.

    My wife, daughter, and I parked in the 90% vacant parking lot to eat at the Whataburger next door since their parking lot was full. We weren't there but 30 minutes and came back outside to find my truck towed away. There are only a few small signs that say "guest parking" and park at your own risk and a sign out front that said illegally parked vehicles would be towed-- absolutely no signs said guests only, all others will be towed. There's one woman on the housekeeping staff who apparently has nothing better to do than to patrol the parking lot and call the towing company if you are not a guest but parked in their parking lot. What if we were going to stay there but we were hungry and decided to go to Whataburger first? I'll tell everyone I know not to ever stay at a Red Roof Inn if this is how they treat people.
